Testing Services administers entrance and course exams for the College of Nursing.

The entrance exam for the College of Nursing is the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS), which measures basic essential skills in the academic content area of reading, mathematics, science and English and language usage. The test is intended for use primarily with adult nursing program applicants. The objectives assessed on the TEAS exam are those which nurse educators deemed most appropriate and relevant to measure entry level skills and abilities of nursing program applicants.

Disability Accommodations:

Students must provide a copy of their DSS Accommodations Card
to Testing Services at least a week in advance of their testing date
so that proper arrangements can be made. It is the student's responsibility
to give Testing Services this information before they come in to take their exams.
